Kevin’s research interests include the areas of computer vision, machine learning, location tracking, recommender systems, context-aware systems and ubiquitous / pervasive computing.

Kevin is a Principal Investigator for both WisarLab and the Centre for Mathematical Modelling and Intelligent Systems for Health and Environment (MISHE).

Kevin has experience of working as a software developer and has also got experience with industry collaboration. This industry collaboration has allowed Kevin to work with over 45 SMEs over the past ten years. Since joining Atlantic Technological University, Kevin has secured funding of over €400,000 to complete collaboration, industrial research or knowledge transfer projects.
