Personal Profile
I teach on the MSc in Conservation Behaviour, the MSc in Applied Marine Conservation, the International MSc in Marine Biological Resources, and the BSc in Applied Freshwater and Marine Biology at Atlantic Technological University. I am joint Co-ordinator of the MSc in Conservation Behaviour. My main areas of research are animal contest behaviour, animal communication, and the application of behavioural concepts to wildlife management and conservation. I am also interested in the ecology of freshwater species, the ecology and conservation of Irish butterflies, and methodological and statistical techniques used in ecological research.
