Md Rokonuzzaman is an academic, researcher, and higher education administrator since 2010 with continuous experience in teaching, academic leadership, and institutional management. His research expertise encompasses both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, with proficiency in NVivo, MAXQDA, QDA Miner, IBM SPSS, AMOS, SmartPLS, and LISREL. His methodological expertise supports rigorous empirical research, advanced experimental modelling, and evidence-based analysis across multidisciplinary domains. His research study with the Fire and Civil Defense authority is one of his notable works that blended on real-world problem solving, process design, and methodological integration within emergency supply chain and logistics. His international academic engagement includes participation in research conferences, seminars, and scholarly events across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Portugal, France, Italy, Spain, and India. These experiences have strengthened his global perspective, fostered international collaborations, and expanded his professional network within the global academic community.

Throughout his academic career, he has held several senior leadership positions at Gopalganj Science and Technology University (GSTU), Bangladesh. He served as Chairman of the Department of Management Studies for more than five years, providing leadership in curriculum development, faculty supervision, research promotion, and departmental administration. He initiated and implemented one of the first Outcome Based Education curriculums in GSTU. He also served as Provost of Aparajita Hall, where he managed student welfare, residential administration, and disciplinary affairs.

As Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, he led academic quality assurance, strategic planning, and faculty development initiatives. In addition, he coordinated the MBA Evening Programme and taught postgraduate courses in communication, MIS, and advanced management, earning recognition for his student centred and research informed teaching.

He holds an MPhil, an MBA, and a BBA from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, and has completed Professional Level I in Cost and Management Accounting from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh. He is now working at the OSCAR centre in Atlantic Technological University, Ireland. His research focuses on critical technologies, innovation, and evidence-based decision-making. He is committed to advancing knowledge through interdisciplinary research, academic excellence, and strategic leadership that contributes to sustainable institutional development and societal progress.

Beyond his institutional responsibilities, he served as President of the GSTU Provosts' Council from 2019 to 2023, contributing to university governance and policy development, and as an Adviser to the PSF Foundation, Dhaka, from 2012 to 2023, providing strategic guidance for educational and community development initiatives.

Recognised for his analytical thinking, leadership, effective communication, and collaborative approach, Md combines academic scholarship with administrative excellence. His professional interests include technology and innovation, higher education, public services and organisational development, research methodology, and strategic management. He also took part in the scholarly programs at the CIMS, ESDI, EUROMA, POMS, and the EUGREEN and INTERACT community. He remains dedicated to fostering international collaboration and contributing to the advancement of higher education through excellence in research, teaching, and academic leadership.
