Abstract

Compact 5G mmWave Vivaldi Tapered Slot Antenna(VTSA) with enhanced Bandwidth is designed and simulated in this paper. The proposed antenna is designed at 26 GHz band with a small size and it provides good input matching (<-11.17 dB), enhanced Bandwidth (BW) of 12.1 GHz, stable radiation pattern, and high peak gain (5.76 dBi) without using any gain or BW enhancement techniques. The small size of the proposed antenna (8.1 mm x 8.3 mm x 0.813 mm) along with its good performance make it a suitable candidate for mmWave 5G applications The simulation in this paper is carried out using Computer Simulation Technology (CST) software which is based on Finite Integration Technique (FIT).
