Abstract

Blockchain has established a following due to the strength of security it offers. There is a tradeoff in security but definitively establishing provenance of data in some cases can be considered more important. The research work described here is an overview of the early stage of work in the area of decentralized data analysis. In this work we describe the significant issues found in setting up the decentralized environment using blockchain to support data for subsequent analysis.
