Communicating percieved inadequacies during enterprise application development

Abstract

Scrums are particularly useful in the development of enterprise scale applications due to the size of the task and number of disparate inputs required. Given that the team may include members with lesser capabilities as well as seasoned developers it may be difficult for some to communicate their perceived inadequacies. Admitting in a Scrum that a piece of work is incomplete or incorrect can be daunting. This early investigative work outlines observations, over a two year period, on encouraging developers to 'Soapbox' their issues/faults.
