Abstract

A study was performed on the experimental evaluation of the migration of aortic stent grafts. The purpose of the study was to assess the suitability of the various stent types available for stent graft fixation. The conditions needed to cause stent graft migration was achieved experimentally by a bench test system, that is capable of simulating pulsatile pressure and flow.
